Welcome to Blood Cell ID - a tool for direct cell-to-cell morphology comparisons

Directions

The main window is divided into four quadrants ( or when actively selected), with each quadrant displaying a unique cell type. The cell type displayed in each quadrant will have a label (eg ), center justified at the top or bottom of the quadrant, respective to the quadrant's window location

Clicking the label will display the 2024 Hematology and Clinical Microscopy Glossary definition as defined by College of American Pathologists. The cell type definitions are displayed in Sans Forgetica font. Feel free to use the bubble switch to change font appearance. Additionally, the cell type description window can be resized accordingly by dragging the respective corners (ie , , , or )

You have the ability to change the number of quadrants displayed by selecting your preferred view from the quadrant selection options (), located center and top of the viewing window. Top left quadrant will be viewable during all selections, top right during two or more quadrants, bottom right during three or more quadrants, and bottom left during four quadrant view only

The cell type shown can be changed for each quadrant independently by using the three triangle pull tabs located on the window's edge ( or )

All images can be zoomed via mouse scrolling and can be panned via mouse click drag

All individual cell images are labelled with an identification number located in the bottom right corner respective to the individual cell image. Please consider leaving your feedback below or [reaching out to me directly](mailto:bloodcellid@gmail.com) for cell reclassification considerations
